This year’s edition has produced five exciting voices: Alfa Farouk, Tosin Ibitoye, Olabisi Akinbinu, Adetola Films and Miriam Dera.
Adetola Films’ Black Monday is the second film from the top five finalists (Ibitoye’s Blastis the first). The film explores the effects of the stigmatization of convicts in our society and preaches against jungle justice. It follows Abiodun, a victim of false accusations, who is suffering stigmatization from members of his community.
