Reclusive Nigerian menswear brand IN Official formerly known as Ifeanyi Nwune creates a new collection titled Black Trill.
The creative director of the brand, Ifeanyi Nwune, explains that the name “Black Trill” represents the ability of an African (a Black) brand to be able to create something phenomenal that can stand side-by-side with the western world counterparts.
The collection is inspired by the artistic prowess of the color black. The models used are both African, the dark skinned, Kevwe and an albino, Iyi. Kevwe is an professional model while Iyi is a security man at a service company in Lagos, Nigeria. The idea behind the contrast of the models is to define the beauty of the black race and the distinct forms they may come in; and also show that however you were born does not hinder one’s opportunity to succeed.
