Breis And Nneka Prove Problems Are Never Ending On ‘Wahala’

Driven by strong support from some of the United Kingdom’s top media houses, his brazen honesty which most times translates to relatable songs and Nneka’s award-winning soulful charm, South London Nigerian rapper, Breis, takes on the worn but timeless subject of unending problems on his latest single, Wahala, a brazen review of the current state of the world that also serves as a single off his upcoming project and is accompanied by a raw, landscape video.

Taken from Breis’ most important project to date, Arise And Shine, which is due for a late August release, Wahala is a vintage reggae and hip-hop fusion offering with added jazz and afrobeat sensibilities, produced by legendary Brixton DJ and producer Keith Lawrence.

The accompanying video is a retro mirror that reflects the painful words Breis and Nneka dispense in the song.

Wahala might be frayed but Breis’ words are underlined by the kind of importance his listeners can’t escape, making it as relevant as the next Pop song.
