Budding Artist TAR1Q Releases Brand New EP, ‘Son Of The Moon’

Tariq Oluokun, popularly known as TAR1Q, is poised to announce himself in the Nigerian music scene with his diverse new five-track EP dubbed, Son of The Moon.

Having undergone training in the last year under the umbrella of Chocolate City Music’s NuTrybe’s academy for young talents, TAR1Q attributes his passion for music to a couple of big shots in the game including Davido, Wizkid, Chris Brown, and J Cole, and now combines different elements of these sounds into his own music.

In this project, he sings about a variety of relatable things including love, unrequited feelings, and self-confidence, with two tracks in particular standing in focus: Bad Intentions and Signal, both depicting the artist’s desire to find pure and reciprocated love.

 Speaking on his release, the 21-year-old said, “I’ve been working hard for this and I’m very excited to finally introduce the world to my sound”.
