President Muhammadu Buhari shall return to the UK for further medical treatment the Presidency announced yesterday debunking claims that the President shall instead fly his doctors into the country. This revealation comes one day after the Presidency announced that the amount of money spent on the president’s healthcare shall not be made public.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu explained to reporters in Abuja yesterday that:
“It is false news (that Buhari is no longer going to London). We are not aware of the reported advance movements.
The last time the President spoke about this, he said he would return to his doctors after some time. We are not aware that this has changed.”
