PMB spent the better half of this year in the UK on medical leave. Thankfully, he’s back in the country and on the job, how active he is, we don’t actually know however, yesterday, the Presidency revealed that the amount of tax payer’s money spent in the UK shall not be revealed.
While explaining why Nigerians will never know how much was spent on the medical leave in the UK, Lai Mohammed explained that disclosing the cost of the President’s medical trip would undermine national security.
The Presidency also moved to mend divisions between the Executive and Legislative branch by creating a reconciliatory committee which shall answer to issues like the rejection of the proposal to promote Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu as well as the face-off arising from non-appearance of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Hameed Ali.
