As part of the media tour to promote his new album, African Giant, Burna boy stopped by the New York radio morning show, The Breakfast Club, to discuss collaborations on the album and his music inspirations, from Fela Anikulapo Kuti to the late Eritrean-American rapper, Nipsey Hustle. The afro-fusion singer also touched on being on Beyonce’s The Gift album and the crossover of African music, from the days of Majek Fashek to now.
