Off CDQ‘s sophomore album, Ibile Mugabe, comes the third video for one of the standouts off the project titled Ghana Must Go which stands as a deviation from his regular style complete with standard Afro-Pop elements.
The retro and African themed video directed by Clarence Peters follows a comedic and dramatic plot that mirrors CDQ’s narrative in which he articulates his ability to pull women freely due to his next level lifestyle.
CDQ is one artist whose unpredictable creative style is centered in the non-conformist nature of his brand. He walks the fine lines of street music, Afrobeat and a number of others and hasn’t let any of these define him which is what sets him apart from the regular street artist.
