Earlier on today, Soundcloud released a blog post which indicated it’s biggest artist and albums of 2016 by looking at it’s streaming numbers.
Chance the Rapper, the MVP of 2016, led the way as the biggest artist as his album Coloring Book, had the most streams amongst all artists.
G.O.O.D Music new signee, Desiigner, had the biggest hit of 2016 with Panda that was streamed across worldwide, before eventually being remixed and featured on TLOP.
As for Uzi Vert, he was the most followed artist of 2016 as he saw a rise of his farm base due to the release of two mixtapes, and honorable features on Too Much Sauce, and Bad & Boujee.
