Chef Eros Takes Nigerian Cuisine Global with ILÉ Bistro

Nigerian culture has generally expoloded to international acclaim in recent times. From Nigerian artists charting on the Billboard Hot 100 to Nigerian filmmakers securing prime deals with streaming platforms like Netflix and Prime Video, there’s a general interest in the Nigerian culture industry. It is this interest Chef Tolu Eros is seeking to tap into with the establishment of his first brick and mortar outlet in Los Angeles- the entertainment capital of the United States.

Today, the immersive fine dining tasting room- an offshoot of ILÉ LA, will open its doors for the first time at Citizen Public Market in Culver City. Speaking on the importance of this moment, Chef Eros said;

I’m proud to introduce West African culture to global audiences through food served at ILÉ LA and now, ILÉ Bistro. Our new elevated casual concept will introduce both new and familiar flavors to our guests through signature dishes like Jollof rice, Pepper Soup, and Suya, which layer in authentic Nigerian spices with fresh local ingredients. I look forward to continuing my mission of sharing my upbringing, family, and culture through our menu at Citizen Public Market.
