The second novel in Tomi Adeyemi’s fantasy trilogy, Children of Virtue and Vengeance gets a release date to much excitement of fans of the series. At the very beginning, she made clear her goal for the series in a chat with Entertainment Weekly “Write a story that’s so good and so black that everyone’s going to have to read it — even if they’re racist,”. And that was precisely what she did as the young author’s debut Children of Blood and Bone debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times young-adult best-seller list and secured a film adaptation deal.
Since reading the first book, fans of the author have been anxiously waiting for the release date of the next part of the story. The wait is finally over as Children of Virtue and Vengeance, the highly anticipated second instalment in the trilogy will hit stores on the 4th of June, 2019.
