As Ivorien artist, Chrystel Bagrou readies for her debut project, an EP that will be tagged Prey, she teams up with fellow Atlanta based artist, Toyé for a Le Mav produced single tagged No Fi Waste.
Against an uptempo beat, Chrystel and Toye deliver a track that speaks to women being confident and unrelenting about their non-negotiables. While the message is serious, the approach to it is as playful as ever and you’ll definitely have the record on repeat while you bop your head.
Growing up in the US did not stop Chrystel from listening to genres like Afropop, Congolese Rumba and it’s no surprise the Grammy-nominated singer continues to fuse R & B with afropop evidenced by her place on the hook of Rema’s Beamer, collaborating on Darling with dndSection and now No Fi Waste.
