Fast rising Nigerian music sensation Crayon has released the visuals for his most recent single Ijo (Laba Laba).

Ijo (Laba Laba) which is Crayons latest release closely follows Overloading (Overdose), his hit collaboration by Mavin Records alongside other music stars like Ayra Starr, Boy Spyce, Ladipoe and Magixx. Poised to be a strong contender for the summer anthem of 2022, the Sarz-produced single is an addictive melting pot of House, Amapiano and Afropop influences that is guaranteed to make you dance and cast your worries aside.

In 2019, Crayon made a strong entrance into the vibrant Afropop scene after signing with Mavin Records, headed by influential music legend Don Jazzy. He went on to release his debut EP, Cray Cray, one of the most celebrated releases of 2019.

Since then he has created career-defining hits with tracks such as So Fine, Tele – the 2020 collaboration with Kelvyn Boy and his Twelve A.M EP, featuring dynamic collaborations with Rema, Bella Shmurda and One Acen – and most recently the Overloading (Overdose) single.

Directed by TG Omori, the Ijo (Laba Laba) video is set in a preppy high school, highlighting the feel-good theme of the song. Speaking on his latest release, Crayon describes Ijo (Laba Laba) as “a song intended to drive you to dance – regardless of your current predicament. As colorful and bubbly as a butterfly, this is a song that lifts your spirit and soul.”
