Do you have what it takes to create Nigeria’s next best narrative podcast? Apply for this immersive narrative podcast workshop and take the first step toward bringing your story to life.
The workshop will introduce you to the foundational principles of narrative storytelling for audio. Through multimedia resources, collaborative writing sessions, and one-on-one mentorship with seasoned producers, you will gain practical skills and creative confidence.
Over the course of five weeks, you will learn key elements of narrative podcast production, including:
- Narrative structure and scriptwriting
- Fundamentals of audio recording and production
- Studio management essentials
- Sound design as a storytelling tool
- Showrunning and managing a narrative podcast
This workshop demands full participation, collaboration, and time commitment.
This workshop will take place in person in Lagos, Nigeria, from the 31st of May to the 5th of July 2025. We will only accept applicants who can commit to attending every session over the 5-week period. As part of the application, shortlisted participants will be required to sign a pledge of commitment, confirming their availability and dedication to completing the full duration of the program. This is to ensure a collaborative learning environment where every participant can get the most out of the experience.
