Ghana-born Dan Drizzy grew up surrounded by his family’s South Nigerian highlife music. The years he spent in South Africa exposed him to more music. All of these musical influences can be heard in his unique sound from his 2021 breakthrough EP, Business with God to his first single of 2022 titled International.
For his latest offering, he collaborates with British-Ghanaian artist Eugy. Produced by Anelworldwide, International hits the sweet spot between Afrobeats and Amapiano as Dan Drizzy flexes his slick vocal prowess. Eugy, best known for his 2016 hit single Dance For Me with Mr Eazi, holds his own. The result is a great song set to further Dan Drizzy’s career beyond the Nigerian and Ghanaian markets.
