Nigeria shall head to her sixth World Cup appearance at this year’s edition in Russia. Squaring up in the Group of Death against Argentina, Iceland and Croatia has managed to remain second fiddle to the Eagle’s jerseys and merchandise. With no African nation making it past the World Cup Quarter Finals, we know where the bar is and hopefully, it can be met. In the spirit of the competition, Nigerian legend, Daniel Amokachi lets us in on how his all-time Nigerian team lines up.
Opting for a 4-3-3 formation to accommodate more attacking talents, most of Amokachi’s team is made up of his counterparts who took the field with him in the 90s.
