David Meli has mastered the art of serenading his muses and even stirring feelings wielding sweet words as his tool of choice. Coming from the recent release of an appraised debut album, Fruition, he’s even more confident and charming on the just released Temperature Rise, an ode to a lover who can’t seem to get enough of him.

On the mid tempo single, David Meli is joined by Buju whose sonorous vocals is the go to complement for love songs like Temperature Rise. The former leads the duo with a sweeping verse that covers his muse’s attitude, the scope of their relationship and the result of the chaos that ensued from what he paints as forbidden love. Buju comes in on the ensuing verse, amplifying David’s narrative in his signature off kilter but sonorous style.

Despite the negative emotions translated sonically, Temperature Rise is a bop with the makings of a fan favourite.
