Davido and Tekno Team Up On If

Davido has shaken things up with his management as Asa Asika has returned as his manager and the superstar has repeatedly claimed it’s back to the basics and making music primarily for the local market. Since the start of the year, the DMW head honcho has collaborated with Mayorkun on Prayer, a single off DMW’s upcoming project and now delivers his second serving, a track titled IF which is produced by Colombia Record’s only African signee, Tekno.

IF can be said to be the first of many releases we can anticipate from DMW in the early stages of 2017 with tracks like Prayer by Davido and Mayorkun and Las Vegas by DMW’s latest signee, Yonda already enjoying massive airplay and upcoming tracks like Deejay Olu and Mayorkun’s Raja, Dremo’s O Sure Ju, Mayorkun’s Sade and Ichaba’s Aduke all ready to go.

The video for IF  which was shot in London and directed by Director Q is also released and sees Davido put in the work to bag one of the CEO Dancers, Nqobile.

Anything Tekno touches turns to gold (make faces if you want, we both know that’s a fact) and so does anything Davido release. Now, imagine a mix of Davido and Tekno on one song! IF is just as crazy as beautiful as you imagined.
