Growing up in Oyo, Deen OG got exposed to a lot of Fuji music in his Muslim household. As he got older, his musical palate evolved to accept more contemporary Afro Pop influences. Now based in Dallas, his versatile style has grown into an amalgamation of his distinct Nigerian roots and his American influences.
The result is a contemporary R&B sound blended with West African melodies that allow his definitive style to stand out from other artists in this genre. In 2021, Deen put his unique style and sound into his self-described Afroblend debut titled No Be Lie.
He makes a return this year with a more fleshed out body of work entitled Vibes With OG.
