DJ Neptune Team Up with InternationalBoy for “Lagos”

Popular disc jockey, DJ Neptune, has teamed up with budding singer, producer, and content creator, Silver Emenike, also known as  InternationalBoy, for a song titled, Lagos.

InternationalBoy, who is signed to Lahor Music, sings an ode to Lagos, which is popularly described as ‘Africa’s entertainment capital’.

The song has a catchy and feel-good vibe heavily driven by synth, percussion, and kicks while exploiting the amapiano sound, creating an instant connection for InternationalBoy and DJ Neptune.

Produced by South Africa-based Chaffrizzerr, the harmonious blend of Afrobeat rhythms and contemporary sounds, and resonates universally with listeners. 

Speaking about the diversity of sounds in the track, InternationalBoy said, “As a singer, I don’t like to be put in a box. My versatility not only underscores my artistic prowess, I also believe it will establish me as a dynamic force in the music industry.”

On his part, DJ Neptune stated that he got to know about the singer when the latter made a cover version of his song, ‘Count Your Blessings’. He said, “After listening to his version of ‘Count Your Blessings’, I knew that he had an incredible talent that the world needs to hear. That was why I was open to working with him.”
