Abuja based Afro-Drill sensation Eeskay has returned with a surprise double single project titled Flimsy Excusees/Bad Character.

His latest project finds its roots in Afro-Drill, featuring pumping drill beats that are infused with Afro-inspired sonics. Produced by Cross and Tubase, Flimsy Excusees/Bad Character is a creative outlet for Eeskay to chronicle his musical journey and upbringing the way he knows best.

Flimsy Excusees centres personalities from his past who try to detract him on his road to success and he fights to continually overcome the temptations and continue to chase his dreams. These personalities are depicted as the pimp, gang leader and trapper trying to obstruct the main character, Eeskay.

Bad Character highlights his upbringing as a child with Eeskay starring as the black sheep of his family. Eeskay addresses the acceptance of his role and how he makes it work for his narrative as he sings, “I get bad character. I came, I saw, I changed the matter.”

Over the past 3 years, Eeskay and the double energy Gang have continued to craft their niche market in the capital city of Abuja by pioneering the fast rising Afro-Drill sound. Eeskay’s musical career boasts 4M+ streams on his exceptional record Agbalagba featuring Odumodublvck off his album Drill Or Nah.
