Falana Drops Feel-Good Music Video For ‘Energy (Re-Up)’ ft. Sir Dauda

Multitalented Nigerian-Canadian singer-songwriter, Falana has released the official music video for her song titled Energy, the second track on her vibrant and uplifting 2021 EP, Rising. 

The cheery, high-energy video was directed by 2brothers, a creative duo that consists of upcoming cinematographer, KC Obiajulu and videographer Adeola Fadola, and is a perfect fit for the vibrant spirit of the song itself. The video shows Falana (and her bold signature hair) with a few female companions vibing out and getting ready for an evening out. We follow them as they cruise down town in a drop-top ride to a party where we see Sir Dauda, who features on the song, making an appearance.

Known to promote powerful messages with her music and visuals, there’s a lot of laughter, dancing and positive vibes  in this one, and although lighthearted, there’s an underlying theme of ‘girl power’ and ‘happy black girl energy’ that is always nice to see.
