FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy To Stop By Abuja on April 11.

The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup will take place in June and prior to the tournament, the trophy is currently embarking on a world tour and it has been slated to stop by Abuja, the country’s capital come April 11 2019.

The tour kicked off in France yesterday where the World Cup tournament will take place. The tour will take in all 24 countries taking part at the competition this year, starting with Jamaica.

According to FIFA, the tour is aimed at giving football fans an avenue to experience the trophy.

The trophy will arrive in Abuja on April 11 from Yaoundé, Cameroon before setting at the World Cup venue, France in May.

The Super Falcons have made it to every edition of the World Cup tournament since its inception but have never won.
