Good girl LA has been making footprints through the Nigerian music industry with the release of her singles Faraway released in 2018 and the crowd favorite: Bless Me released earlier this year. She also performed alongside Solis, Dami Oniru and Tems at the Femme showcase in April this year.
A multidimensional artist, this comes across in the varying sounds of her singles. Her single, Jofunmi fuses reggae and Afrobeat different from the melodious Bless Me built on a piano background. She accompanies her deep reverberating vocals with a wide range of different instruments.
Seeking to build upon this, she announces the release of her debut EP LA Confidential. The artiste describes the Ep as experimental sound-wise but a lyrically authentic expression.
The 8 track EP is set for release on the 6th of September. The album art was shot by Badman Tej and does a good job depicting the energy of the EP to come. The EP is currently available for pre-order on Boomplay.
