After the teaser for the second season of Blood & Water, Netflix has finally released the official trailer for the South African original.
Thanks to the trailer, we can confirm that fans can expect more drama, more breakups, more lies, more good-looking faces and more questions as the Parkhurst clan continues their search for the truth.
According to Netflix, “Parkhurst High returns with a rocky start between Puleng and Fikile following the revelation of the DNA results and the drama ensures to test old alliances and forging new and unlikely friendships. A new school therapist joins the staff and a new hunk, Sam, joins the Parkhurst gang with both bringing a few secrets of their own… One thing that we can all be sure of is nothing is ever as it seems and nobody will be left unscathed by the truth.”
Unlike the first which had only six episodes, the second season will have seven.
Blood and Water stans will be happy to know that they expect to see familiar faces from the previous season like Khosi Ngema, Ama Qamata, Natasha Thahane, Gail Mabalane, Cindy Mahlangu, Thabang Molaba, Arno Greeff and Dillon Windvogel.
New additions to the cast include Leroy Siyafa, Katishcka Chanderlal, Alzavia Abrahams, and Greteli Fincham.
The show is created by Nosipho Dumisa and executive produced by Bradley Joshua and Benjamin Overmeyer. It is produced by: Netflix and Gambit Films; written by Nosipho Dumisa, Daryne Joshua and Travis Taute.
Blood & Water season two is set to launch exclusively on Netflix on September 24th.
