Dealing with fake friends with no concept of loyalty? Then you need to listen to Hotkid’s new single Mandem.

Featuring Ghanaian rappers DTG and Kwesi Arthur, the fast-rising Nigerian hip-hop artist shares his thoughts on loyalty in friendships on this militant mosh-type track.

On Mandem, Hotkid does something different by choosing to use English as opposed to his usual blend of Yoruba and pidgin.

By switching styles, the hip hop rapper, Afrobeats singer and songwriter hopes to share a new side with fans on this new boppy tune, which is inspired by the drill genre.

Hotkid, born Moshood Adeola, has been on the rise since he got discovered by Dr Dolor in a viral Instagram video showing off his rapping skills. He got signed to Dr Dolor Entertainment in 2019.

Apart from this latest single Mandem, Hotkid has released hit singles like Ozana off his 2019 debut EP Honorable.
