One of the standout tracks off Odunsi’s debut album, rare. was Hectic featuring SOLIS, 234Jaydaa and amaraae. For many, it was an introduction to the 234Jaydaa and SOLIS considering they’d only sparesely put out music before Hectic dropped. As first impressions go a long way, Hectic cast the limelight on both singers and in the following months they’ve taken advantage of the new found fandom. On Valentine’s Day, 234Jaydaa, who continues to show her brand is centered around the lithe and lulling quality of her vocals graced our speakers with a 4-track EP titled The Crescent Moon Collection.
On The Crescent Moon Collection, 234Jaydaa serves us with a satisfying blend of hip-hop ballads, mid-tempo grooves and contemporary R&B, all of which give life to relatable subjects which she metaphorically projects in her mellifluous voice.
The project is no better way to herald her presence and we’re excited for Jaydaa’s future in the industry.
