In the wake of the Decennial Anniversary of M.I’s Talk About It: a timeless album that revolutionized the Nigerian Hip-Hop scene and the clamor for a Chocolate City project, Ice Prince and Jesse Jagz; two original members of the record label go back to the drawing board to tap into the quintessential features of their artistry in a collaborative effort titled Control Number (OG Vibe).
The mellow, hazy track with punchy bass driven beats and befitting samples supporting clever lusty punchlines delivered by both artistes is a wake up call for rappers like themselves whose breaks from the scene has in fact left a void waiting to be filled by only those who are well versed in the art of Hip-hop.
While there is no indication of further joint releases, we hope to see them come back together for more similar offerings.
