If you need an excuse to get pumped for the weekend – Watch Eugy’s Tick Tock video

UK based Ghanaian singer/rapper, Eugy Official, first burst on the Nigerian music scene on the collaboration Dance For Me featuring Mr Eazi. The next major appearance from the Official Records artist was the Afro/Trap infused monster record Tick Tock.

The single which dropped early January just got a video, and is more than enough reason to turn up this Friday! Shot in Ghana and directed by Lex MacCharty, the first 45 seconds of the video is reminiscent of a classroom 90’s baby’s can relate to. This scene however, has absolutely NOTHING to do with the entirety of the proceeding video.

It follows the expected and showcases Africa in all its melodramatic glory. It features a few good attempts at the new Nigerian craze – Shaku Shaku, the Azonto, and Guara Guara.
