Jinmi Abduls Pays Homage to Beauty and Chaos of Lagos on ‘Little Lagos’

After the successful release of Jowo (The African Remixes) EP in June, Singer/Songwriter and Producer Jinmi Abduls has gifted his fans with a three-track EP titled Little Lagos.

Little Lagos is an ode to the beautifully chaotic city that Jinmi is not only living in but, is also building a career in. Inspired by the experience of going through a quarter life crisis in the most intense city in the world, the EP takes you on a rollercoaster journey of love, lust and hardship while highlighting the challenges Jinmi has faced in his career so far.

The opening track Bena creatively highlights Jinmi’s encounter with a classic Lagos girl. This Saszy produced track really displays Jinmi’s smooth vocals and unique tone. On this love song, he talks about giving up his “Hooligan ways” for the girl who has captivated his heart.

On the Amapiano inspired track Trina, he expresses his desire to be freed from the spell of his love interest. Jinmi glides effortlessly on this hypnotic beat by fusing catchy melodies with an equally catchy hook, showing his versatility. This upbeat track will have you dancing before you know it!

Closing this three-track EP is Soke– a hustle- driven street track that expresses Jinmi’s desire to succeed. Teaming up with Martinsfeelz and fellow Chase Music artist King AMO, the trio offer heartfelt prayers to God, asking for His light to shine on them on their journey to super stardom.
