Skepta And JME Return As A Brotherly Duo On Gritty ‘Nang’

Last year, JME carried on his nonconformist streak when he released Grime MC, exclusively off DSPs, a move that highlighted his organic grip on the English genre. As was the norm for the Grime rapper, he teamed up with his brother, Skepta on one of the project’s standouts, Nang which got treated to an abstract but somehow telling video yesterday, one of the project’s tracks to make it onto streaming platforms.

The video begins with a landscape view of JME on a highway, offloading his barrage of bars before the heat picks up in an uncompleted building where we find Skepta and the rest of the gang iterating their positions in the society over the grime leaning war-ready instrumental.

While its been ages since we’ve witnessed the duo go head to head together, their synergy on Nang is not unmissed and does not hint at any rift, instead it solidifies and highlights their natural harmony, taking us back to the days when Boys Better Know was an active movement.
