On Sunday 18th February, Kano Pillars took on Enyimba United in Kano for the final time this season. For Udoji Chinedu, former Enyimba captain it was a nostalgic experience that saw him face-off with former teammates. It was also, sadly, Chinedu’s last soccer match for the side as he passed on in a car accident later in the day.
Following the game, Chinedu went to visit his former teammates but was unfortunately involved in an accident on his way back home revealed Kano Pillars via a Twitter post on Sunday.
Chinedu Udoji was involved in a car accident yesterday after visiting his former team mates at Enyimba. This tragic accident happened along Club Road in Kano. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, fans, and football lovers all across the country.
