For the remix of his single Hennessy, the Nigerian singer and songwriter Kehinde enlists Portable.
Portable, who is generally regarded as a street artiste, is renowned for the hit Zazuu Zeh, which was released in December 2021. Some of Portable’s more recent records include the singles Money Before You Love and Jagaban.
The original Hennessy song had been released last August. In the remix, as in the original record, Kehinde confesses a hedonic fantasy. Over a groovy beat and with vocals occasionally bearing Fuji inflections, the singer pines for a life buttered by luxury. Portable likewise registers his intention to not heed naysayers, his verse delivered in his native Yoruba.
With the Hennessy remix, Kehinde grows his discography which comprises several singles, three mixtapes and an EP.
