Killertunes is responsible for a towering number of stellar hits released this year. Now, as he bows out of a very successful year, he adopts Sarz’s strategy and shares a longtime coming 5-part EP titled Gbedu Things with the perfect bass intro leading us into the festive season.
With only one feature, the kaleidoscope of sounds is smooth on 11:11, springy on Flex which is empowered with verbal interjections, rife with melodic strings and dramatic builds on Gorilla Riddim and energetic on El Padrino. The cherry on the cake is the DJ Tunez assisted Alhaji Riddim which is the project’s only single considering its strengths lie in the power of the reverberating bass drums leading the rest of its rhythmic percussions.
Gbedu Things is a whimsical mix of bops appropriate for any season and with, not only does Killertunes he has the Midas touch but he gifts us top-notch feel-good singles.
