On his last release, My Darlina, the multitalented artist offered us a tuneful take on Afropop, however, on his latest, the braggadocious YKTFV (You Know The Fucking Vibe), featuring Psycho YP, he forays into the heady and 808s powered dimension that is Drill infused Pop.
YKTFV (You Know The Fucking Vibe), a repurposed version of late Pop Smoke’s Rico Beats produced viral hit, Dior, marks a hopeful renewal for King Perryy and the country’s Hip-hop scene at large as the eclectic duo comprised of the latter and Psycho YP do a great job of balancing out their boastful bars on the beat, at the same time exhibiting the kind of comfort only well-equipped artists can.
