Kinsolo Appraises Nigerian Party Culture On Final Project Of 2020 ‘Grooveland’

As the year comes to an end, budding Afropop singer, Kinsolo takes a step towards the spotlight with his anticipated album, Grooveland.

The ten-track album led by the previously Kom Kom, Bruk Up, and All Mine features a dynamic range of contemporaries stirring the industry in an unusual but welcome direction including, Buju, DNA, and Maka. Production credits go to Eli De Great who is solely responsible for crafting the entire album’s sonic direction in line with Kinsolo’s captivating and trendy narratives.

Grooveland is described by the pharmacist turned musician as “The promised land” one he summarizes as a “land of vibes where there is no worry”. The album capitalizes on the sounds that drive Lagos nightlife and utilizes them as its blueprint resulting in a fusion of rhythms meant to “rock your world”.

Kinsolo no doubt has experienced a remarkable year sharing two projects, Kinsolo 2 EP and Grooveland album, each as distinctive and entertaining as the next. With 2021 looming on the horizon, he paces himself with the latter in line with his plans to begin the new year on a high note by way of visual representations of the Afroriddims on Grooveland.
