By all means, Nigeria is still as divided as ever. Think about a country that zones its highest six positions every four years and a state that is still bitterly divided against ethnic lines. While some may argue it’s the start of all our problems a fair share will argue we have bigger issues but one thing we can all agree on is the fact that our divisions are a problem. On Korede Bello’s latest release, 2Geda, he’s encouraging us to unite and stay positive as we look to fight Nigeria’s problems.
Our problems are definitely more complex than those that can be solved completely by unity but I mean, it’s still an important message. Just don’t get it twisted.
