Korede Bello Grows Up with Sun Momi

It’s been a tough couple of years for Korede Bello. Since his break out as the baby faced prodigy and sweetheart of the first iteration of the house Don Jazzy built Mavin 1.0, a lot has happened. He took some time from the mainstream to pursue his education while the climate that had surrounded him evolved rapidly. Reekado Banks, who was signed as a contemporary has established himself as a credible pop star able to stand on his own. Tiwa Savage is now signed to the Universal Music Group while Rema has taken the place as the teenage sweetheart and the crown jewel of the label.

Hinting at his evolution into adulthood and its significance, his music, and visual identity has undergone a rebrand. The jerry curls are gone and less is being worn. With his latest single Sun Momi, Korede Bello delivers a softly sung reflection on grown-up matters of the heart.
