For years, flitting features and side references may have been the practices that defined sonic relations between African cultures, one that has undoubtedly produced a slew of hits that have contributed to the reintroduction of the African music industry to the rest of the world. But, with the rapid evolution that has plagued the industry, these practices are getting obsolete which is why in all his uniqueness and creativity, Krizbeatz carves a niche for growth via his just-released star-studded sophomore album, African Time.

The fourteen-track project teeming with multicultural appraisals and references is a get-together of African music heavyweights all of whom tap influences from several parts on the continent to paint a mosaic of the African experience in its totality.

The project features award-winning East African Singer, Diamond Platnumz, as well as Vanessa Mdee, Nandy, and Ray Vanny. Nigeria’s Mr Eazi, Reekado Banks, Teni, Tekno, Yemi Alade, and Ghana’s Samini and Fuse ODG, a natural selection of those with a vast understanding of mainstream music across the continent, also with strong grips on their statuses even outside their home countries.

Packed with a song for every mood, generation, and even era, African Time, is a definite unifier likely to do better than its predecessor, ADM (Afro Dance Music).
