Lil Wayne announces Free Weezy Album release date

To follow his announcement of signing a deal with the Jay Z led TIDAL, everyone’s favourite New Orleans rapper has announced that his next album, The Free Weezy Album will be released on US Independence Day, July 4th. It’s still unclear under what imprint the album will come out on in light of his dispute with Birdman and Cash Money.

The announcement was made during his Release Partiez nightclub tour stop at the Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California.
