Ever since Reekado Banks took his first step as a lone ranger, his tentacles have grown and stretched beyond the borders of Africa. Banks joins Jean Atem and Ryie of Lu City famous for their Michael Montano featured hit single; Let It Goon their new single; Starting Over.
On the Dancehall led track, accompanied by a colorful tropical Video, the trio deliver three Afropop and Dancehall hybrid verses interspersed by an infectious hook that will have their listeners moving to the synthesized chords in no time.
Thought its more of a summer jam with an abundance of warm hues in the video, Lu City and Reekado Banks have only just given us a taste of what a partnership like theirs can yield and we’re hopeful for more collaborations.
