2018 has hosted a myriad of revolutions in the Music Industry including but not limited to the relegation of conservative methods of new music announcement, new genre experimentation and creation, transposition between release announcements among others.

Prominent among these rapidly growing non-conventional music industry infrastructures is the raw display of Tracklists these days. Local and International Artistes have of recent taken to social media platforms to share images of raw and skeletal tracklists. Late last month, Quavo of the Migos group shared images of the features in his forthcoming solo album. The features were written in scratchy cursive on a piece of burnt out paper and had fans including those in Nigeria as a result of a likely Davido feature amp their anticipation for the release of the album.

Yesterday, Mr Eazi hopped on this train and published the tracklist of the second volume of Life Is Eazi: Lagos To London slated for a late October release on his Twitter and Instagram profiles. Having already released four hit singles off the project, he seems to be dedicating his time and resources now to promoting the project.

From the published image, its likely the project will be divided into two categories; the first; ‘Lagos’ alluding his life in Lagos and the second; ‘London’ alluding his life in London. He also hinted at two international Production features; Diplo and South Africa’s Destruction Boys, an indication of EDM and Gqom inspired tracks in the project. If the singles already released, Producers, features and track titles are indicators of how hot this project will be, then we’re definitely ready for an immediate release and not dashed hopes.
