7Gents, a group of six visionary friends have introduced their first signee, Musgan. The highly promising and talented Musgan has stormed the music stage with his debut release Bùje’, a song which features iconic Afrobeats disc jockey, DJ Obi. First premiering at Obi’s house, the song became a heartbeat, its appealing rhythms encouraging Obi to jump on the hit single.

Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Musgan is an up-and-coming Afrofusion artist whose influences are footed in the legendary Fuji singer Sikiru Ayinde Barrister and the melodious contemporary rhythms of Burna Boy. His music combines traditional African sounds with modern Western influences, leading to a genuinely unique sonic adventure.

Musgan’s latest single Bùje is a vibrant, spirit-lifting and uptempo effusion laced with infectious energy. The song contains homage-paying moments in which he acknowledges the contributions of stalwarts to his journey so far. While expressing love and his dedication to the music industry, the artist states, “To ba ti fe lo yi wo, mo ya pe Kwande, he go observe am, he go arrange am, Two heads are better than one if we use am well”.

With his debut collaboration with 7Gents, Bùje marks the beginning of Musgan’s thrilling musical career and is the first of other expectations from the artist who is set to make an indelible mark on the African and global music scene.

Out on October 18th, Bùje is available on streaming platforms.
