Music: Your Number Remix- AyoJay Feat. Fetty Wap.

Nigerian artistes have been representing the country and the African continent in establishing Afrobeats music beyond Africa’s shores. In June, Davido released Fans Mi featuring Meek Mill, WizKid released the remix to Ojuelegba and that featured Skepta and Drake.

One Nation Records’ Ayo Jay took the country by by storm when he announced via Instagram less than a month ago that a remix to his first big-time hit, Your Number would feature Fetty Wap. For both artistes it’s a strategic move.

Fetty’s without doubt one of the more popular names at the moment and it looks like he’s trying to expand to the African market. This can be said following his reach out to Ice Prince, WizKid and Davido via his Instagram page for the Afro Remix to his smash single Trap Queen.

For Ayo Jay, it’s great to have Fetty on what’s without doubt a great track and this could possibly push Your Number up a notch.

Ayo Jay now joins the likes of P Square, Davido, D’Banj, WizKid and Timaya as Nigerian artistes with collaborations with American music powerhouses.
