‘Never Late|African Time’: Here Is A First Look At Netflix’s First African Podcast

Netflix’s latest local addition is the first African podcast called Never Late|African Time. Hosted by South Africa’s Andy Maqondwana and Zweli Mbhele, the podcast will have fascinating conversations with beloved industry veterans, young actors, directors and producers from across the continent.
The Nigerian acts appearing on the podcast are filmmaker Kemi Adetiba, actresses Nancy Isime, Ini Dima-Okojie, Sharon Ooja as well as Daniel Etim Effiong and Kunle Remi. Award-winning Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau Karanja popularly known as Kate Actress and South Africa’s thespian Israel Matseke-Zulu will also be on the podcast.
“Hosts Andy Maqondwana (Kaya FM) and Zweli Mbhele (947 Radio) have no holds barred conversations with Africa’s foremost talent, talking all things industry as the performers share their personal stories in and away from the limelight, ” the official statement reads.
Never Late|African Time premieres on May 4, 2022. The five-episode podcast will be released weekly on the AfricaOnNetflix official YouTube page. Audio formats will be available on Spotify and Apple.
