2017 had no shortage for Nigerian artists engaging in tours across the world. The likes of Davido and Mr Eazi engaged in world tours unlike anything any other Nigerian artists had engaged in in the past while Maleek Berry went for a smaller but just as relevant American tour. The pace has been set and the opening quarter of 2018 looks to follow in the direction from last year as Davido shall take to the UK in February while Maleek Berry tours Europe fresh off his sophomore project, First Daze of Winter. The tourers club shall be adding a newcomer in Olamide who shall engage in a 17-stop European tour.

It’s particularly interesting to see Olamide who has embraced Nigeria making the jump with a tour around some of the more obscure cities in Europe when it comes to music. With six Italian stops at the expense of any legs in the UK or France, the suggestion that spreading the music is paramount can be made. The question though is shall the people gravitate towards Baddo and the sound?
