Olamide Releases Visuals For “Uptown Disco”, Off “Ikigai” EP

Despite previously announcing that 2022’s Unruly would be his final project, Nigerian music star Olamide has shown that he’s far from retiring. The artist has now released the visuals for Uptown Disco, a standout track from his unexpected EP, Ikigai featuring Fireboy DML, and Asake. 

The Ikigai Vol. 1 EP marks another shift in Olamide’s illustrious career. True to its name, which translates to “reason for being” in Japanese, the EP is a testament to the artist’s genre-defying versatility and creative genius. Olamide’s latest work reaffirms his legendary status on the global music stage with its bold and seamless blend of hip-hop, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Amapiano, and Pop music.
