Omowunmi Dada and Timini Egbuson Star As Lovers In Romcom “Meeting Funmi’s Parents”

Talented Nigerian actors Omowunmi Dada and Timini Egbuson take up the lead roles in forthcoming romantic comedy, Meeting Funmi’s Parents.

Executive-produced by Micheal Ademola Oke, with Suleiman Bolaji as co-producer under Belmont Pictures, the film is about a lady, Funmi (Omowunmi Dada), who visits her parents in Nigeria with her fiancé (Ramon Thomson) from the US, only to the disapproval of her father and re-emergence of her cheating ex-boyfriend (Timini Egbuson) who tries to crawl back into her life.

In this promising romcom, viewers will find out if truly genuine love conquers all. Cast members of the film  also include Akin Lewis, Alvin Abayomi, Broda Shaggi, Sophia Chisom, Taiwo Ajayi-Lycett, Saka Hafiz Oyetoro, Tina Mba, Sophie Alakija, Femi Durojaiye, Rotimi Adelegan, and Emmanuel Ikubese.

The film is produced and directed by Kevin Luther Apaa, while the director of photography is Barny Emordi (Ada Omo Daddy, House of Secrets). 

FilmOne Entertainment will be responsible for the distribution of Meeting Funmi’s Parents across cinemas nationwide, as the film is set to be released on January 26, 2024.
