Osinbajo urges Akwa Ibom to bring in private investors

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo during a town hall meeting in Uyo in relation to the FG’s visits aimed at bringing solutions the Niger Delta crisis called on Akwa Ibom State to actively push for an influx of private investors to the state, suggesting that they hold the keys to progress.

He said: “The biggest benefit you can attain as a state is to attract private investors. We must provide the enabling environment to attract private investment because it is not every time you call on the Federal Government.”

Osinbajo also urged the state to embark on programmes that encourage participation of millennials in the tech world.
