The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the gubernatorial election in Osun State inconclusive as the number of canceled votes were more than the winning margin.
INEC had announced that PDP candidate, Ademola Adeleke scored 254,698 votes while APC candidate, Isiaka Oyetola scored 254,345 votes.
Prof. Joseph Adeola, the returning officer announced that the total eligible voters where elections were canceled were 3,498 against the 353 winning margin of Adeleke.
INEC has consequently fixed a rerun for September 27th.
